Boo!
I hope you've all had a wonderful week! I can't believe it's May already, this year has flown by so so quickly! This week I will be sharing a very photo heavy post. A couple of posts back I mentioned that I had been to the Cinderella Exhibition that Swarovski had sponsored and now I can finally share the photos I had taken, sorry it's taken so long! Although the Exhibition was quite short it was amazing to see the costumes and designs, which were incredible! It was also fascinating seeing the rough drawings/plans and old memorabilia.
The photos are in the order of what you saw as you walked round the exhibition, apart from those stunning glass heels which I thought I would start with, and finish as well. We were given little talks as we walked round and was told that five of the glass slippers were made for the movie, and the one that Cate Blanchett broke wasn't one of them. I think I heard that correctly, well I hope so anyway the shoe is far too pretty to break!! It was actually really difficult to take a decent picture of the shoe because it was just so so sparkly, but you can kind of see the various colours and sparkles. You know I love myself some glitter and sparkles so this place was definitely my kind of place. Also, it was for free as well and you can't be critical with anything that is free, especially when it was so spectacular!
I hope you all enjoyed this little photo diary:) For those in the UK I hope you all have an incredible long weekend, and hope everyone else has a great day too! I would love to hear what you think about these kind of posts, are they too photo heavy?
Take care and speak soon.
Not too photo heavy for me. I love this post and totally wish I could there, so beautiful

ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible exhibition to have seen - the glass slipper is particularly interesting, however for some reason I just adore the Cinderella yellow glittery sign shown in the fourth-to-last photo shown in this post :) Beautiful!

Amazing exhibition! And those glass slippers look so beautiful! But they would certainly be very uncomfortable and slippery to walk in, I feel.
